The N.Z.S.Co. `H` Boats were 8 sister ships built at John Brown & Co. Clydebank, A. Stephen & Sons Glasgow and Vickers Armstrong Ltd. Newcastle. $ were owned by N.Z.S.Co namely Haparangi, Hauraki, Hurunui and Hinakura. 4 were under Federal Steamship Navigation Company, namely Huntingdon, Cumberland, Hertford and Sussex. They were of 11,281 Gross Registered Tons, 170.93 Meters Lenght Overall. Driven by Twin Propellers, and driven 2 x 5 cylinder Doxford 2 stroke double acting Main Engines giving 12,800 B.H.P. and a service speed of 16 knots. They had 14,800 cubic Meters refrigerated cargo space. They were all in service until between 1973 and 1976, when they were sold for breaking up. http://PartTimeJob.online/?user=395910
